about

My live album 'Trio', released in 2009, was my first completely self-produced release. It was a true learning experience, almost totally trial-and-error. Given the conditions (and the existing technology in 2009) it worked out very well. The recording of this track had some technical issues which necessitated the fade-in and fade-out. The trio performance was first-rate -- even though I dislike fades of any sort I decided it was appropriate on this track. It's also my first live performance with a fretless guitar, the Godin glissentar.
