Larry Coryell was a major inspiration from the first time I picked up a guitar. He was also a friend for more than 40 years with whom I shared the stage many times. As the obstacles that surrounded my completing this album loomed, he offered strong encouragement and support to overcome it all. I went back and recorded this after he died in appreciation for his inspiration and friendship.
